And our dogs and puppies don’t really enjoy it… not even a little bit… 😉

You may spot a few little humans playing on the equipment too – turns out our kids love it as much (if not more!) than our dogs do!

We had a good play with some of our puppies we’re keeping here at Banksia Park Puppies. One day they’ll be Banksia Park Dogs! Now they want lots and lots and lots of attention due to being in their critical socialisation period. This is where they do all their learning. So in this time we put loads of effort into training them, playing with them, patting them, and in general teaching them to be around people and kids. Here are some photos of these gorgeous puppies – Cuzzie, Muppet, Muffin, Harlow, Harsha, Harper, Poko and Harlee.

Beautiful Day at Banksia Park Puppies

What a great day today at Banksia Park Puppies to spend hanging out with our gorgeous puppies and dogs! They all have such different personalities and it’s very cute. Here are some photos which I will also add to our parents pages.

Here at Banksia Park Puppies we have an agility playground and our dogs just absolutely adore it! Here are some photos of us having some fun yesterday playing with our young dogs.

Meet Taylee (red and white cavoodle), Ayanna (apricot poodle), Snazzi (salt and pepper schnauzer) and Ayasha (chocolate poodle).

They were alot of fun and loved running around together with us! Ash, one of our socialisation staff members is in a few of the photos too. She’s in charge of playing with the dogs and puppies all day! They certainly love her for it!

Over the weekend Labor was voted into power in Victoria. They have said that they intend to stop professional breeding, and reduce the amount of breeding females in domestic facilities to 10. This will shut us down, and as industry leaders, we know that it will not stop any illegal breeding, but will instead create puppy blackmarkets. It will be a step down in animal welfare for dogs. It will mean years on waiting lists for the public for whom our puppies are bred specifically for; families with children, people with allergies and those who want a dog of even and fantastic temperament. If this law comes into effect, dogs, puppies, and the everyday Victorian family will be the ones who lose.

Regardless of this change of leadership in Victoria, we want to continue to show the public our fantastic world class facilities, and show what dog breeding should be aiming for in Victoria. Labor should not be prohibiting dog breeding, but should be using enforcement to shut down illegal breeders, and bring every legal breeder up to our standard here at Banksia Park Puppies.

Even in light of this, and the issues we face, we continue to keep up our activities in our world class facilities. Here are some puppies we’ve played with over the weekend. They’re super cute (especially the puggle!).

Here at Banksia Park Puppies we love having fun with our new puppies on our playgrounds! We’re making good use of our new playground, bringing Mishka and Meeka who are in their critical socialisation period up for a play today. We’ve been teaching them to sit – Mishka is doing really well but Meeka is a little behind; they’re all different!

We had alot of fun – Meeka in particular loves the tunnels!
