Banksia Park Puppies Agility

Our new Agility Park

Playtime at Banksia Park Puppies

We decided that one playground for our puppies wasn’t enough… so we built another!

And our dogs and puppies don’t really enjoy it… not even a little bit… šŸ˜‰

You may spot a few little humans playing on the equipment too – turns out our kids love it as much (if not more!) than our dogs do!

Banksia Park Puppies – Cavies and Cavoodles

Fun with our Cavie and Cavoodle puppies

We had a good play with some of our puppies we’re keeping here at Banksia Park Puppies. One day they’ll be Banksia Park Dogs! Now they want lots and lots and lots of attention due to being in their critical socialisation period. This is where they do all their learning. So in this time we put loads of effort into training them, playing with them, patting them, and in general teaching them to be around people and kids. Here are some photos of these gorgeous puppies – Cuzzie, Muppet, Muffin, Harlow, Harsha, Harper, Poko and Harlee.

A Banksia Park Puppies Party!

The party at Banksia Park Puppies

At Banksia Park Puppies we were host to our kids’ birthdays over the weekend@ We had our little boy’s (1st) and little girl’s (3rd) joined birthday party here over the weekend. All of the kids at the party were ecstatic to be playing with our puppies here at Banksia Park Puppies! We had various groups of puppies here over the weekend and the kids had a great time! The young ones were played with in the hay play pen and they were exhausted after a short time playing! Then we had a few older groups come and play, and the older kids helped us play with them both in the agility yard, and around the park! We also put leads on the older puppies and had a good walk around and play with them all. It was fantastic for the kids and the puppies. The kids love playing with dogs and especially new little ones, and our dogs benefit from so much attention from kids! We focus this time on ourĀ puppies within the critical socialisation period, they benefit enormously from contact with so many kids! They spend alot of their weeks with our socialisation staff, and with the kids who come for after school jobs, but a party with kids is a different thing altogether and great for them and their growing minds (the kids ANDĀ the puppies!).

Here is a gallery of the fun we all had over the weekend.

The puppies we played with were:

Young puppies:

Swoosh, Ariel, Sharon, Sherry,

Older puppies:

WillBee, Sage, Halo, Starlet and Sooty.

Banksia Park Puppies Meeka

Banksia Park Puppies Meeka

Banksia Park Puppy Meeka!

We had some fun with Meeka today!

We’re trying to teach Mishka and Meeka to lead, and learn the commands ‘sit’ and ‘down’; all very important for Labradors! Meeka is doing very well in her training and can nearly sit on command now. You’ll see some Christmas decorations in the background – we’ve been having fun putting these up over the last couple of weeks!

Remember to enter our christmas competition to win a Snooza bed on the link below!

Fun on our playgrounds at Banksia Park Puppies

Here at Banksia Park Puppies we love having fun with our new puppies on our playgrounds! We’re making good use of our new playground, bringing Mishka and Meeka who are in their critical socialisation period up for a play today. We’ve been teaching them to sit – Mishka is doing really well but Meeka is a little behind; they’re all different!

We had alot of fun – Meeka in particular loves the tunnels!
